Friends, family and colleagues of Pensacola News Journal publisher Kevin Doyle gathered last week at Seville Quarter to celebrate his remarkable career.

Doyle is stepping down, though he and his wife, Jenny, will remain, at least part time, in this area.

They look forward to spending the majority of their retirement in Sonoma, Calif., in order to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Interim Publisher Rebecca
Boles served as mistress of ceremonies at the event where several members of the community joined her in toasting the many accomplishments of the well-liked Doyle.
